We need your help!
We’re lucky enough to own these fantastic old barns at Bridge Farm, which is right next to Glenfrome Primary School. We don’t need them as barns any more, so what should we do with them?
What do you think the area needs? What would you like to have?
What do you think would work well in the space? The lower barns to the north of the courtyard used to be full of cows, so they have quite a low roof. The taller barns which you can see from Glenfrome Road have two levels, they were used for drying grain.
Architects, like our friends DHVA, use floorplans to help them understand the space and how to use it. You can download these here.
You can print them out and draw on them, or you can sketch your own plans on some paper, or just write a list of your ideas. You could even build your own barns out of Lego!
Whatever you come up with, take a photo of your finished designs, and then post them on Facebook, or email them to us at tony@bridgefarmbristol.org.uk by 31st May.
Our fabulous architects, DHVA, have agreed to act as judges to select the most fun and creative designs. We’ll put the winners up on our website https://bridgefarmbristol.co.uk
We’ll also post our own plans to show you what ideas we’ve had.
Have fun!
