Consultation Day Report 20th October

Executive Summary

Thank you everyone who attended the consultation day, it was great to see the exciting project vision and structure emerging through everyone’s contributions. It was fantastic to see the energy, enthusiasm, insight, thoughtfulness and innovation in the room, very fitting for a groundbreaking, precedent-setting Bristol based Community-Led Housing project.

Our overall aim is to make this an authentic grassroots community-led housing project, which we all want to see effectively delivered in a way that serves future residents and users of the site, the local area and Bristol City as a whole.

The day started with the whole group together, to consider the Values and Impact. It was great to collectively hear the narratives about Bridge Farm that you value and the impact you would like to see this project have on the community.

The latter part of the day focused on specific Subject’s, in Sub Groups, outlined below:

•Decision Processes
•The Farm House and Outbuildings
•The New Builds
•Transport and Infrastructure
•Open Space
•Energy & Carbon Performance

On Saturday we worked in a number of ways to develop the Vision & mission.
