| The next Bridge Farm strategy day will be on Saturday 16th November, 10.30-12.30, in the end barn at Bridge Farm. The meeting proper will start at 10.30 but if you have not attended one of our strategy days before, please could you be there by 10am for an introduction to the project. Agenda: – updates, including brief overview of possible uses for the old buildings – pairwise process assessing site masterplan criteria – green spaces: scope and usage – co-housing survey update and discussion In order to guage levels of interest in co-housing, we have set up a survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/ZYB225P . In co-housing schemes residents have individual private homes, but there are also shared common facilities. You’ll find a brief explanation the forums here: https://bridgefarmbristol.co.uk/forums/community/cohousing/. Please do take a few minutes to fill in the survey and we will discuss the results on the 16th. Finally, a bit of very good news: we’ve been awarded a grant from the Homes England Community Housing Fund to help fund all the work we need to do in preparation for submitting a planning application. The grant will enable us to employ architects, a project manager and the other roles we need to move forward with the planning and design of the project. |
